VERSATILE BOX BY EMMA NGUYEN

A pandemic is like an unexpected war that is quickly spreading. The place where we can clearly feel an instant impact of an event like this one is in hospitals, in which frontline workers – like valiant soldiers are fighting every minute against the virus in order to regain the life of their patients. Every frontline worker works with all their heart. However, they face many health risks, not only physically but also mentally. They could be infected at anytime or get negative aspects easily such as fatigue, stress, and anxieties. Worse than that, they must keep a distance from their family after work, for example, staying in an hotel or an hospital, in order to protect their beloved ones from any risk of infection. How can we help them to deal with these issues? That is the goal of this project, it is to create a support area for the hospital and its hospital workers. The new area includes new functions such as sleeping spaces, relaxation spaces and food and beverages spaces. All of these efforts support the current hospital. Its location is close but within a separate zone from the patient area. During isolation, frontline workers can find a safe place to rest without worrying about their travel time in case an emergency occurs.
